Refund and cancellation policy

This policy explains how LexSteward subscriptions, free trials, cancellations, and refunds work. It applies to every LexSteward subscription plan. LexSteward is a trading name of 1001657667 ONTARIO INC., a company registered in Ontario, Canada.
Free trial
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We do not ask for a card to start the trial, and we do not charge you when the trial ends unless you choose to subscribe. If you do nothing, the trial simply expires.
30-day money-back guarantee
If you subscribe and change your mind, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason. Email support@lexsteward.com from the address on the account, and we will process it.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel at any time, from your account settings or by emailing support@lexsteward.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it is not retroactive. You keep access to your plan for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and we do not charge you again after that.
Refunds after the first 30 days
Outside the 30-day money-back window, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, and cancelling ends the next renewal rather than refunding the current period. That said, if something has gone wrong on our side, email us — we would rather fix it or make it right than hold your money over a technicality.
Your data is always yours
Cancelling does not hold your data hostage. You can export everything your firm has created, at any time, before or after cancelling. We do not charge to let you leave.
How you are billed
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com Market Ltd., which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles the payment, applicable taxes, and billing enquiries, and Paddle's terms apply to the transaction in addition to ours. Refunds approved under this policy are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge every refund or cancellation request within 2 business days. Once a refund is approved, the funds are returned to your original payment method; how quickly they appear depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically 5–10 business days.
